out errors, in errors

can anyone tell me what are the reasons for getting following error counts

(into ethernet status page)
1. in error
2. out error
3. late collision
4. carsense lost

Check your cable , surge block and PS

Problems like that are typically related to cabling… if the device is installed on a tower, make sure that Shielded Outdoor Cat5 Cable is used.

i use belden cat5e cable, 60 meter tower height.

Is the Belden cable you are using Shielded Outdoor? We used to use regular Outdoor Cat5 at our tower sites and had frequent ethernet issues with APs. Once we switched to Shielded Outdoor cable, specifically Mohawk’s Cellular Tower Cable http://www.mohawk-cable.com/images/news/product-announcements/Cell%20Tower%20NPB.pdf all of our ethernet problems disappeared.

Do you currently have any surge suppression installed between your AP and CMM? An improperly grounded surge suppresor may cause these ethernet errors also.

That Mowhawk-CDT cable looks real nice. I might investigate using that.

FWIW here are the plugs: http://www.sentinelconn.com/html/111S08080028C34.pdf

I use these for STP cable myself, they are very close in design to the above plugs, except they do not require the use of a load bar:

yes,we use shielded outdoor belden cat5e (black color). And Micro net RJ-45 connectors.

recently, using brand new BH's , new soft version 9.3 DES, and new 27RD reflectors, we have failed to establish a 44km link, using 2.4\'5.4\'5.7 GHz devices.

in 5.7 GHz BH's, remote BH find devices in BHM evaluation section, finds my device, but cant get registered. New soft shows new features like specific or predefined power level, jitter level required for device registrations.

Had similar issue with the (outerrors Count) & (CarSenseLost) this was on a subscriber side, and she was using a powerstrip/surgeprotector and the radio would only Autonegoiate at 100BaseHalf. We moved the Poe from the powerstrip/surgeprotector and went to a new outlet in the wall and reboted the radio and the errors went away.
