Out of range VC:0 BuffNum:-2

I had an AP become unresponsive today with the logs filling to overflow (literally thousands per second) with the error message:

10/18/2016 : 19:24:53 IST : :Out of range VC:0 BuffNum:-2

It required a power cycle to get back in.

AP is a PMP450i running 14.2

Anyone seen this, know the cause?
