I’m new to Cambium products and I’m looking for a PMP solution for relatively short links (1,000 feet) on a campus with line of sight between all buildings. We have 12 buildings we need to connect to our manufacturing plant. Throughout isn’t critical, connectivity is the primary concern. There’s little other Wi-Fi on our area. Is there a Cambium PMP product that fits our need?

Hi James, for individual point to point links, you might consider the Bridge in a Box 2Gb (based on our cnWave 60GHz V2000). This product operates in 60 GHz. It requires line of sight which sounds OK with your scenario. The V2000 and V3000 support channel bonding to give more than 2Gbps in each direction. In addition to the capacity, the other benefit of 60 GHz is you don’t have to worry about interference from wi-fi networks or adding additional interference at 5 or 6 GHz.
You can also use cnWave in a PMP or distributed network as well which gives you even higher availability with built-in resiliency. We have some large global warehousing and industrial operators deploying in a very similar application for critical connectivity.
