I am having issues with customers that are very close to our 900 mhz PMP450i. This is just a small location with a few subscribers, so not worth putting up another AP for the couple of customers that have LOS. I am getting better speeds from customers with a -70 then customers that are close with a -54. Is there some setting I should select that will balance this out?

It sounds like interference or multipath issues with the "close in" subscribers. A signal of -54 should be great (and would normally perform better than a signal of -70).
You could check a spectrum scan at that SM location, and also perhaps aim the antenna in a counter-intuitive direction (to accommodate reflected signals). Without knowing more about the situation, I can't offer much more. Keep posting if you figure something out.
