PMP450x Release 24.0 is now available

R24.0.1 beta 4 is now up on cnMaestro cloud. I’m happy to report that it seems to have resolved all of my issues with the original R24 release.

That’s disappointing. I was told by Sri that the R24.0 release would be the winning update for the deep vc queue. Since that is the case, are there any benefits to PMP450m or PMP450i radios?

The two main features of R24 are support for 450v and 450b6 and an unlocked key to use the uplink interference mitigation feature on 450m 5GHz AP’s. I think they’re also trying to roll 6GHz AFC support for 450v. If you’re not interested in any of that, then there’s very few benefits over R22.1.2.

That’s awesome - that’s a killer feature, and glad that it’s unlocked now. :+1:

Is it stable now? Last I saw we were to avoid at all costs.

as I mentioned above

Spent a lot of time troubleshooting a few links today. Legacy 450 and a 450b on 450V AP’s.

Saw strange uplink frame utilization issues. cnmaestro wouldn’t show any data for DL frame util. The uplink modulations seemed to be stuck at 1X.

Is this similar to what you experienced?

All sm’s at 22.1.1.

I don’t seem to recall having the issues that you’re reporting on R22.1.1. At this point however, R22.1.1 seems like a distant memory as we’re now testing R24.1 beta and there should be a stable public release any day now. You might as well just wait for that to come out before you update.
