There are two primary options for powering the UGPS:
1) from compatible radio, or
2) from an external 30V power supply.
450 radios will provide PoE power to the UGPS via either a ‘strait-through’ RJ11 cable or a modified RJ45-to-RJ12 cable (page 4-8 and 4-9 of the PMP Sync Guide) depending on the model.
If the UGPS cannot be powered via the radio or if the UGPS is providing sync to two radios, a 30V power supply should be used to provide power via the central RJ45 connector on the UGPS.
