You probably can do what you’re wanting to do with SNMP calls from PHP. You’ll want to download the Prizm SDK from the Motorola support site, and look at the mibs there. You can talk directly to Prizm via SOAP, and there are examples in the SDK, but they are only in java and perl.

Hope that helps get you started!

sorry i've not found nothing to command prizm with snmp query in sdk :(
some other ideas ?
thank you

Sorry if I wasn’t clear. The Northbound Interface is all that’s in the SDK, you’ll have to check the mibs for SNMP info.

nothing to do with perl ... i'm trying to make an interface to prizm with php interfaced with soap but i've no luck starting to interfacing with prizm ..
example soaptest.php

<?php

$sc = "https://10.204.2.1/prizm/nbi/";
$wsdl_file = './wsdls/ServerIfService.wsdl';
$parameters = array('username'=>'prizmadmin', 'password'=>'mypassword');
$soapclient = new soapclient($sc,$parameters);
$ret = $soapclient->call('getServerInfo()',$parameters);
unset($soapclient);
?>

this is the response

Warning: SoapClient::__construct(https://10.204.2.1/prizm/nbi/) [function.SoapClient---construct]: failed to open stream: Connection refused in /var/www/html/prizm/soaptest.php on line 8

Warning: SoapClient::__construct() [function.SoapClient---construct]: I/O warning : failed to load external entity "https://10.204.2.1/prizm/nbi/" in /var/www/html/prizm/soaptest.php on line 8

Fatal error: Uncaught SoapFault exception: [WSDL] SOAP-ERROR: Parsing WSDL: Couldn't load from 'https://10.204.2.1/prizm/nbi/' in /var/www/html/prizm/soaptest.php:8 Stack trace: #0 /var/www/html/prizm/soaptest.php(8): SoapClient->__construct('https://10.204....', Array) #1 {main} thrown in /var/www/html/prizm/soaptest.php on line 8

someone php or soap genius can help me ?
wsdsl file are not in my prizm server ... is this wrong ?
thank you

We have done it in aspx with C#.

The trick was to open a connection using a tls license parameter.

If that helps let me know because I need to convert to PHP to queury Prizm as well.

I could give you our C# code too if that helps you.

I posted an small PHP code example that shows a simple connection to the SOAP interface using PHP. Here is the link:
