OK, So I decided to upgrade to v3.1 and at the same time just wipe and start over on the OS since my v3.0 setup wouldn’t start tomcat properly.
I’ve resolved all of the service and startup issues, but I now have a licenseing issue I can’t seem to fix.
Following the instructions I uploaded my v3.x license files to both the tomcat/web license manager page and did the same via the Prizm Admin tool license configuration (per the install doc).
When I do a “License Manager Status” query (in either interface) I get the following:

License server status: 27000@nike
License files(s) on nike: (my license files are listed in order)
nike: license server UP (MASTER) v11.4
Vendor Daemon Status (on nike):
motocnpy: The desired vendor daemon is down. (-97,121)
That is it, none of the actual license features are shown below the above line.
Back on Prizm v2 I recall having to call a command line specifying -motocnpy but don’t see any mention of this in the install docs.
Any ideas on where to start digging?
Just to follow up on my own issue, I was able to resolve it by installing .NET 2.0 framework.
Some how I missed that in reading the various PDF’s.
v3.1 looks pretty interesting so far.
