Prizm

Does prizm work on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 server

I know it works on 4 but what about 5?

If you’re looking for any support from Motorola, stick to RHEL4. They won’t even support CentOS4, which is completely binary compatible to RHEL4, so unless the documentation says it is supported, stay away unless you’re sure that you won’t need support.

If you’re confident you won’t need support and are comfortable in Linux, I’d say give it a shot. There have been a lot of people who have successfully gotten the previous versions to work on a number of different distributions. Just be careful to pay attention to required versions of the specific software mentioned in the installation guide.

And don’t forget to post here how it went if you try it!
