One of our POPs acts as the hub for 2 other sites via 5.7 20Mb Backhauls. This site also has a ring of 6, 2.4 Access Points. This site is the Slave. This POP receives its bandwidth from a nearby building via a 5.7 20Mb backhaul link. The feed location is the master. There are no Aps at this building as it is merely a feed. All APs and BHs are currently installed on a 15’ pole on top of the building. One 20MB BH (5775) is facing NW, one (5755) facing E and the main feed (5735) is facing NE.
We plan to replace the BH link between the hub and feed with a 5.7 45Mbps PTP400.
I have a few questions regarding the integration of the PTP 400 link.
1. How will the PTP 400 interact with current infrastructure? Basically, as the other two BHs at the hub run 5.7, will there be interference even if I lock down the the PTP 400 to the frequency of the BH its replacing? Will locking the PTP 400s down to one frequency limit the throughput between them?
2. How will synchronization work? Currently, all of the Aps and BHs receive timing from a 1008CK CMM with GPS. I know the 45Mbps don’t use GPS or even the CMM. What will stop the PTP 400s from receiving when the 20Mbps are transmitting and causing all sorts of interference issues.
What I cannot due is move equipment off of the pole and put it elsewhere on the building or purchase new equipment.
If you know of any articles or white papers that are available as well that would appreciated.

You will want to put the BH400 at one end of the spectrum and lock it down, and then the other two BH's at the other end of the spectrum. Better still would be to look at a 5.2/5.4 link and keep that 5.7 clear.

No sync. The only solution is physical and RF signal separation.
This BH60 actually do less than 40 mbps. They use two channels, and until you try you can’t be sure that your setup will work. But with 4 non overlapping channels on 5.7 you can do fine.
If there is interference the modulation rate will go down. But you don’t have to do great channel separation if you can’t.
