I have a PTP450i in the field which is showing a bit of latency. Upon investigating remotely i have found that it is being powered by via POE from a switch at 24v. I don’t have a 450i in stock but have tried to simulate the 24v with a 550i and this will not power up. Couold the power be the cause of the latency and has anyone powered the 450i with 24v?
The PTP 450i product requires higher voltage than that. It will not function normally using a 24 V supply. It is compatible with 802.3at power supplies, which are nominally at 48 VDC.
