PtP 550 - 4.5 or 4.4.3 - ePtP or TDD PtP

Thanks ninedd.... so are we looking at the ptp 550 tanking or hoping for next software update to rectify some things?

As mentioned, we are reasonably pleased with the performance, on our existing links. They are working pretty good, and I don't have any plans to remove or replace them. Unfortunately, when I bought the ePTP550 (and all of the 3000/300 line of AC gear) I didn't realize that there wasn't going to be an ePTP equivalent of what the ePMP1000 & 2000 have.  For me - the ePMP 2000 in ePTP mode is freaking awesome (except it's just 'N').  But ePTP mode on the AC line is a totally different (and even incompatible) animal.

Anyway - I don't think the PTP550 is ''tanking'' - the links we have up perform reasonably well in TDD mode.  But I also don't think future software updates will resolve any of the issues, and so I don't see there being a reason for us to deploy any more. Cambium and us seem to be on different wavelengths as for what is needed in a WISP, so I don't see it just as a firmware issue.
