PTP600 (Orthogon) T1 Interface

Hello,
I’m hoping someone can help me out with our PTP 600 lite link. We installed a link with two hops for a local business and its been up and running great for a few months. The business has only been using the ethernet interface of the link. They want to use the T1 interface now for voice traffic but we haven’t been having any luck with it.

Here’s our setup:
Cisco Router
V.35 Interface
Adtran model TSU 100 (Settings: Timing - Network, Linecode - B8ZS,
Framing - ESF)
Straight Through Cable (3’)
ALPU-ORT
Straight Through Cable (40’)

The Orthogon links have the following settings:
Telecoms Interface - T1
Telecoms Channel Selection - Channel A Only
Channel A Line Code - B8ZS/HDB3
Channel A Cable Length - 133 or 266 depending on length

The adtrans all report no signal as do the ptp600 links. Do I need to terminate the wires in a different order on the adtrans? Every cat5 run is using the standard color code sequence:
wo, o, wg, bl, wbl, g, wbr, br

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Are you using shielded cable?

Yes, we’re using shielded cat5e wire from best-tronics.
