We upgraded our PTP670 system to the latest release 670-03-12 in an attempt to correct intermittent Data Bridge muting in the system. After doing so we found we could not access the downstream radio via in band management data. When we removed the customer data completely from the system it responded as expected to the managment data and pings went from 50% time outs to perfect response.
The customer data is AOIP UDP at less than 15% utilization of the link bandwidth. There is plenty of data headroom in either direction but pings and management GUI do not work with the system loaded.
We finally backed the entire system down to System Release 670-02-70 and it works perfectly.
