PTP820 OID's

I am working on gathering more info vai SNMP from our PTP820S links.  I am looking for things like ODU status, receive levels, etc.  The only MIB files for these radios are for old firmware versions, but the OID's should still be the same.  None of the OID's in 1.3.6.1.4.1.2281.3.1.2.1 return any results.  I always get "OID not supported".

1.3.6.1.4.1.2281 is Ceragon's private OID list, so this is public knowledge, and no one should give me crap about referencing Ceragon as the manufacturer this time.  ;-)

Just looking for help on the proper OID's that will return values for RSSI, etc.

Thanks.

Hi Aaron,

I've uploaded the latest 9.7 MIB files to the PTP 820 software download page - PTP 820 9.7 MIB Files.

The OIDs you're looking for should be around:

1.3.6.1.4.1.2281.10.5.1.1.2 genEquipRfuStatusRxLevel

Can you try using these and let me know if they work for you?

Thanks,

Steve

Thanks Steve.  Most of these genEquip OID's work great.  Thank you for your help.

Hello,

Did anyone manage to find the OID for SNR for the 820, similar to the PTP810?

Many thanks in advance,

Marc

Not SNR as such, but the MSE (MeanSquareError) is available at genEquipRadioStatusMSE, or .1.3.6.1.4.1.2281.10.7.1.1.2 via snmpwalk.  (on my pair it shows up at genEquipRadioStatusMSE.268451969)  It's NOT the same as Signal to Noise Ratio, but it can serve a similar role in visualizing the quality of the received signal.  I have a pair of PTP820s on my bench right now showing -26dB received signal level on each, but -27.34 MSE on one and -41.19 MSE on the other - the one with -27dB MSE has receive modulation 64QAM, the other direction it's reaching 2048QAM.
