Radio reboots - have anyone seen this

We have an issue with a couple of customer where their 5200sm are rebooting without any apparent reason. I have change the SM but get the same problem. I am including the Event Log from the radio and you will notice that the radio does a memory dump and then reboots.

ANY SUGGESTION WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Oh YEA! I have seen this… took me a month to get a response from MOTO about it… they said it has to be a bad radio… so send it back for RMA… so that is what I am doing.

http://motorola.canopywireless.com/supp ... php?t=4760

look at this thread.....

almost all of my 8.2.2 radios are doing that. I called moto support and they still don’t admit that it is a problem. This is driving me insane. Every day or two I have to reboot my new AP’s to get customers to re-register.

I am having a very difficult time convincing customers that it will get better, I have invested over 600k into their equipment and this is about to have a serious impact on my customer base.

Do any of the other users have any idea on how this can be fixed? I have no faith that moto will do it in a timely manor.

i was told to specifically to send it back because they dont know what is wrong with it and/or how to fix it. I am climbing a water tank tomorrow to retrieve this radio and send it back. As soon as i get an answer i will let you know, until then we will be in limbo. I have had this issue in front of MOTO going on 2 months with no resolution. VERY FRUSTRATING.

Have you tried downgrading to 7.3.6 ?

I was thinking that the best way is to downgrade - I will try this today and let you all know.

Thanks

cant download to 7.3.6 when it is a P10 board.

** Downgrade**

my customers are starting to drop like flies. I keep a good enough relationship with my customers to where they were cool about it for 2-3 but my highend customers (the ones that pay well) need reliable service. This is not something this product can do right now. I need a solution or im going to lose half my customer base.

First I'd upgrade to 8.2.1 instead of downgrading to 8.1.5.1

if I were you I would replace that AP with a P9 board and upgrade it to the newest firmware… that worked for me.

Has anyone seen this problem with 8.2.2 - we are currently using 8.2

YES… I am having an issue with a P10 board that had 8.1.5.1 and then 8.2.2… got the error on both firmware versions… MOTO told me to RMA the radio.
