Radio slicing value

Can anyone explain the radio slicing value to me and if/how it can be used to gauge performance?
The user guide is silent on it, and prizm shows me
that it is a constantly varying statistic.

“Radio slicing value” is an output from the detection circuitry in the receiver. I know of no use that an operator can make of “Radio slicing value”. It varies with temperature, and is used internally to keep the transmit power within specs as temperature varies and is also used to compute a somewhat temperature adjusted “Received Power”.

Jitter is a better parameter for monitoring link health.

Monitoring Received Power might be of some use, but indicated Received Power can vary from unit to unit, and with temperature for a given unit, so can be misleading.
