re-reg problem

hi,

I have 1 ap with 10 SM connected. suddenly 2 of my SM keep re-reg all the time. all our ap and sm using 7.3.6 version and we have try to move the sm to higher place, but still got the problem.

From the SM status, we can see the Jitter is 2 Rssi 1000
From the AP:
Session Count: 89, Reg Count 22, Re-Reg Count 67
RSSI (Avg/Last): 534/514 Jitter (Avg/Last): 3/3 Power Level (Avg/Last): -74/-74

the other SM showed: jitter 2, rssi 1235
from AP:
Session Count: 32, Reg Count 8, Re-Reg Count 24
RSSI (Avg/Last): 1125/1143 Jitter (Avg/Last): 3/2 Power Level
(Avg/Last): -62/-62

and this SM showed: jitter 4 RSSI 963
from AP:
Session Count: 97, Reg Count 22, Re-Reg Count 75
RSSI (Avg/Last): 487/474 Jitter (Avg/Last): 4/3 Power Level (Avg/Last): -75/-75

The other SM’s status is not the same as we see in AP session.
but the worst is this 3 SM.

Another AP with 2 SM’s:

From the SM status:
RSSI 1262 (-71 dBm)
Jitter 1

From AP session:
Session Count: 40, Reg Count 10, Re-Reg Count 30
RSSI (Avg/Last): 1143/1144 Jitter (Avg/Last): 2/2 Power Level (Avg/Last): -62/-62

any ideas?

We have already changed the surge supressor, change the new adaptor, change the new radio…move to higher place…still the same…

All those SM signal is crossing the sea…to reach our AP

Plwease take screen shots of the AP and SM configurations and then post them on a server. Put a link to the images here.

From what I have heard from MOTO before is that a body of water can cause signal issues with the SM’s consistantly staying connected to an AP. We had one shooting over a small Lake doing the same thing.

I have that problem They have been out her 3 times and fail to fix it.
The sm is shooting over a small lake , total distance is 3.5 miles.
How do you fix ir.
It will drop the signal 50 times a day

what you need to try to do is locate the SM behind an wall or on the back of the roof so that it can see the AP but can not see the water…

if you place the human eye where the SM is and then somehow block the view of the water it may help.

The higer you are above the water the better it is.
