Region or frequency is not supported in this release - Transmit Disabled!

Hi,

I recently installed a PMP450i and after configuring and a reboot I am getting the message - Region or frequency is not supported in this release - Transmit Disabled!

I have it set to Australia and selected 5.7Ghz with 20Mhz channel.

I have also connected to a CMM4 unit with the correct pin out (5 & 7 swapped) but the unit is not detecting a sync signal.

Can anyone help with the message as I have not had this occur on our PMP450 units before.

I had something similar happen when doing our first 5.4 Ghz link.  I believe I had to save and reboot in between setting the region and chosing the frequency band.

I am setting up 2 for tomorrow right away, so I will confirm.

I have confimed this.  When I frst power up the radio I have to configure the region and then save and reboot.  Then I can choose the frequency band and all is good.  This is on 14.1.1.

Im my experience, swapping the wrong wires in the cable leads to not getting sync.  I would verify that it's blue-stripe and brown-stripe which are swapped, as those should be pins 5 and 7.

Is this a 450 AP or a 450i AP?

Hi,

It is a 450i unit and can confirm that the cable is correct as per the manual and the brown/white and blue/white cores on the cable are swapped.

I have saved with the correct region (Oceania -> Australia) and rebooted - and tried generate sync but the issue remains.

Hi arobo, 

We had not received type acceptance in Australia in time for 14.1.1 release. We plan to open up Australia country code in 14.1.2 release for PMP 450i.

Hi, we're seeing this exact same thing on 14.1.1 with a PMP-450i, North America United States. Advice?

Have you tried saving the config and rebooting?
