Depends.
If (the sync cable is comming from a sync generating device (BH, SM, CCM) && the AP is set to receive its sync from the sync port)

To clarify:
If you are using an SM or a backhaul as the link from the main tower to the remote AP, all you need to do is loop the sunc port from the SM to the AP.
It’s best if the remote AP has the same sync as the main tower.
