Would be helpful to have at our disposal telnet and SSH remote access to the equipment and the ability to perform tests like ping, traceroute and monitor in real time the signal level and quality of the links.

In latest 2.3 firmware we added SSH remote access with most common commands. You can press "?" in ssh to get the list of available comamnds.
