Yes, leave it as sector.

I did tests with the dual ah90 setup and if the horns are facing the same way then they are overlapped and should use sector mode. If you have the two pointed back to back then use omni/split so that the radio doesnt try to calculate mu-mimo.

That’s a good point… I didn’t realize that you could use that twin horn bracket to point 2 horns in different directions. So yeah… like you said… same direction… sector mode. Different directions, omni/split mode.

Poor Tasos wasnt expecting the amount of stupidity I would put it through when he offered it for review!
The funny part is that with that bracket we changed our base antenna requirements from the kpp 5ghzdp-omni to 2x dual ah90 in split sector. We still use the omni in areas where the max distance from the location is under 2miles or the mount height is under 50ft, no sense spending that kind of money for such a site unless there is a need to burn through some trees.
