RF too big

is anyone having problems with their RF growing too big for the Canopy.

Do you design your RF as one big switch or has anyone tried breaking the clouds down.

If you break them down, how do you deal with VLAN customers (WAN) on different clouds ?

We are looking to go routed and use MPLS, want to know if there are other ways of doing it

Each POP is on its own subnet with standard IP routing connecting it to our main trunk.

I couldn’t imagine all of our broadband customers on the same subnet, ARP requests and broadcast packets alone could saturate the infrastructure.

how do you deal with WAN links for customers on different pops ?

arp is dangerous but we contain it quiet well, most of our customers are NAT enabled

how do you deal with WAN links for customers on different pops

I also keep each of my sites on seperate subnets and VLANs. For customers that have entry points into my network at various places I have VLANs that span to those sites as well.
