Is there a way to filter DHCP on a SM without enabling NAT?
I have a client who connected a router to the SM backwards and started sending out DHCP leases to the other devices on that AP and wreaking havoc.
I can’t enable NAT in my configuration. Is there another way on the SM to filter out DHCP so it can’t pass through?
filter bootp server - this stops a customer from hosting a dhcp server.
check the forums on the other filters that should be in place.
We run a bridged network. Routers at al towers. Filters in use are:
PPPOE
