SM not registering anymore. I have a link that has been up for over a year with no issues or drops. Last Mon. it droped off and will not register to the AP (I have only one AP and three SMs). The other two SMs are fine and working even when they are rebooted. I thought that the SM might be bad so I replaced it….the new one out of the box does the same thing…

The RegFail just keeps going up and up???
That RSSI looks pretty darn low… was it this low before? Something may be blocking your path now that wasn’t before. I would also do a spectrum analysis on 906.0 now to see if someone has lit up anything in that band recently. 900Mhz is a messy, messy band.
The RSSI is a little low I agree…but I have seen lower that work just fine. I did run spectrum analysis on the SM with and without the AP on. 906 has little to no signal without my AP. I thought it might have somthing to do with 906 at or near the AP. I looked at the spectrum analysis after I made the AP an SM and the band is clear from 906 - 924 (all signals not mine are at 90 +) so I dont think its an RF issue blocking me. I am looking at the path to see if I might have a new building or somthing like that.
Can you either put up a link to the spectrum analysis or send it into tech support so I can look at it? If you email it put in the note that you are sending it at the request of the forum admin.
Also, if you can get to the SM go into alignment mode, enable aiming mode, and look for other AP’s. They may be there but just not in the AP eval data screen.
I sent in the spectrum page for the SM via email. I will send over the spectrum page for the AP. I also put it in alignment mode and all I see is my AP.
