SM or CPE is not receiving good signal or is unable to register

Customer claimed that one of the SM/CPE is unable to receive good signal from AP and due to which it is not registering to AP meanwhile other SM with same configurations at the same distance from the same location but having different Ethernet cable, position and on a bit different height can see AP and can register.

Customer performed the following operation and problem was resolved:

  • Aligning the suspect SM/CPE properly again
  • Change the cable, using known functional cable
  • Change the position of SM/CPE (including possibly raising the height)
