It would be beneficial to have the SM advertise its frequency and channel width down to a cnPilot (if detected). A simple LLDP packet sent out the ethernet port of the SM would be perfect. This way, as the cnPilot scans for an available channel, it would know not to use the same as the SM. We've had a couple of situations where the cnPilot is too far from the SM to detect its presence, but as you seat near the SM to use a mobile deivce, the mobile device gets too much noise from the SM and the connection is not possible
