# SNMP change using cnMaestro

Hi all, can one implement changing the SNMP community string on all online devices through cnMaestro? For us the said devices are e3K APs and SMs, e4k APs and SMs, cnMatrix switches and cnPilot routers. Thank you.

It’s possible to change/configure the SNMP strings as well as whether it is enabled or not using cnMaestro, at least with the cnMatrix switches and with the Enterprise Wifi gear. I don’t know about E3K/4k hardware as I don’t have any of that.

For the switches, it’s part of the Switch Group config, for enterprise wifi it’s in the “AP Group”.
