SNMP-triggered binary config load fails 3.0.1

I have a perl script that uses SNMP to update newly-arrived SMs (as of right now, to v3.0.1 firmware) and then uses SNMP to load a default config.

But the default config load is failing on the radios I just got in - Force180s after update to 3.0.1.

Both files (ePMP-NonGPS_Synced-v3.0.1.tar.gz and ePMP-SMDefault-58.bin) are retrievable from the same server, the SM successfully retrieves and flashes the firmware.

But when it comes to the config load, it fails and I see "CAMBIUM-PMP80211-MIB::cambiumFullCfgRestoreError.0 Unpacking files error".

HOWEVER, if I load the exact same config file via web UI it works like a charm.

I'm going to try backing off to 2.6.2 and test, if successful then I'll alter my script to push 2.6.2, then config, then 3.0.1 I guess...

Indeed, when I alter the script to push the older 2.6.2 firmware instead of 3.0.1 then everything works as expected.

3.0.1 apparently won't load binary config via SNMP.

Thanks J. We'll look into this.

Hi J,

This issue has been reproduced. This will be fixed in the next release.
