After searching the forums and not being able to find anything on this exact topic, I decided to ask anyway: For improved security reasons, have there been any thoughts about supporting SNMP v3 in future releases?

Hi Ben,

PMP450 does support SNMP V3 and you can configure it under Configuration >> SNMP and also you can force the radio to use the SNMP V3 settings under Configuration >>  Security >> Security Mode >> SNMP.

Also it would be best to make sure the radio is on the latest software version.
