Ran into an interesting one today.
AP’s are all 7.3.6.
Installed a 900 last week with 7.2.9. Install was fine, radio worked great but the link test was reversed. We were getting 1.1M down x 1.8M up…
Checked another SM (7.3.6) on the same AP and it was fine. Upgraded the new SM to 7.3.6 and it’s fine now.
To me this type of thing sends up red flags. What other odd behavior might be attributed to software mis-matches? I think this indicates it’s best to run everything on the same SW version, no exceptions.
