Over and over and over again we have asked for the ability to upgrade firmware on the PMP product line through the web GUI and repeatedly we have been told that this violates the culture behind Cambium wanting all operators to have a standard firmware load across their devices which is easily managed from cnMaestro.
Why, then, is there a nice GUI upgrade function in the cnMatrix switches?
Either it’s the culture of Cambium that firmware upgrades are done in the cnMaestro software – and the ability to upgrade in the GUI of the cnMatrix should be removed… or give us the ability to upgrade the PMP equipment on the web GUI already!
