# Software Upgrade on AP fails on 2.4.1

Hi

I'm trying to update a 2.4.1 AP not GPS SYNC and it is impossible. Always crashes with out of memory. Such AP has ~ 15 SM connecteds.

The workarround is to turn into SM then upgrade, then set as AP back
