since we had some problems, what’s the correct cabling schema for the sync cable to pass sync signal from a Sm to an AP?

lol i thought i was the only one that just made a straight through cable and cut off the browns :stuck_out_tongue:

however

blacktc:

run the timing cable from the SM to the AP using either of the set ups described and then configure the SM to Generate Sync and the AP to Recieve Sync via timing port.

Then reboot the AP.

This is best done on site. I had 2 cases where the AP thought it had the default plug in. (im sure because i used a straight through timing cable instead of pins 1,6)

If you need to do this remotely and you lose connectivity remember that you will have to access the AP with the default ip of 169.254.1.1
