Is it possible to use SyncE with the 450 platform? I’m looking for ways to simplify our 3 GHz deployments, avoid a CMM5 (since it’s not used for power anyway). We use Cisco ASR920s at each site, and would like to utilize the integrated GPS.
SyncE is not supported by the 450 platform. Apart from the CMM5, you can use cnPulse to provide synchonization to the radios. There are also 3rd party alternatives, and our upcoming Tower Switch devices as well.
