We are installing 2.4 GHz 10 mbps backhaul unit wherein we are getting 3 mbps thru put where as in catalogue it is mentioned 7 mbps. The distance is approx 32 Kms. Can you suggest why it so?
7 Mbps is your aggregate throughput of the link. This number is then segmented based upon your Downlink Data Percentage paramater configured in the Backhaul Master unit.
If this config is set to 50%, then 3.5 Mbps is allocated to your downstream, and 3.5 Mbps is allocated to your upstream.
If this config is set to 75%, then 5.25 Mbps is allocated to your downstream, and 1.75 Mbps is allocated to your upstream.
You have to be careful when it comes to Canopy and throughput.
