Timing Cable from SM to AP

What pinout configuration needs to be used to pull timing from an incoming SM to feed timing to an outgoing AP? We tried the standard straight through timing cable and it acts like a default plug. We tried pin 1 and 6 on SM running respectively to pint 2 and 5 on AP and the AP says Error no sync.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve run a timing cable (pins 1,3,6) from a BH to an AP but never a SM.

We use pins 1,2,3,6 with know problems.
