Trouble Upgrading Firmware

This morning I am having trouble upgrading Firmware from cnMaestro on a couple different devices (both cnPilot R200). At first I wasn't getting a specific error but I've attached a screenshot of what it says now.

I would upgrade the firmware manually but 4.2-R1 for cnPilot R200/R201 is currently only available through cnMaestro.

And just to confirm, despite what the error says 4.2-R1 was not applied and the device is still running 4.0-R2.

Have you checked Cambium's downloads on their support site?  Looks like it should be there for you to download.  Not sure why Maestro is giving that error, Cambium may be able to speak to that more.

Yes, I've checked the support site. The latest for R200/201 is still 4.1-R2.

Ah, I see that now, I misunderstood which firmware you were trying to go to.

Hi David

There was some issue in 4.2-R1 and we have removed it, we have uploaded new build 4.2-R3 in cnMaestro (release note and support site will be updated soon)

Can you please try updating your cnPilot from cnMaestro now.

4.2-R3 worked just fine this morning. Thank you Rupam for the help!

Aside from that, I do have 4.2-R1 running on a few live routers already. Will that cause any issues?

Hi David

Great to hear that your problem is solved.
Well to answer your other query about some of the devices running 4.1-R2, we will always encourage all our customers to be on the latest and recommended version.

cnPilot 4.2-R3 is latest and stable compared to 4.1-R2.
