UPGRADE A CYCLONE OMNI TO A 5.7

Hello Guys,
I have an old cyclone Omni, i was using and it’s on the 5.3 MHz frequency and i currently run on the 5.7 frquency and i want to convert the cyclone to a 5.7 . What i intend doing is to change the SM’s , that’s switching the 5.3 with 5.7 and doing the connections, do any one have experience on it or advice to give to me.
i will appreciate your solutions

You cant change any 5.2AP in to 5.7AP.

It’s best if you have someone with experience do the modification on your AP. It’s an expensive experiment.

Hello again,
Thanks for your responses, what i intend doing is to switch the 5.2 to 5.7 AP and connect the OMNI
Any other solutions are welcomed

I don’t recomment using a 5.2 Omni on a 5.7 radio.

The antenna is made for the 5.2 band and is tweaked to 5.2ghz.

What circumstances made you think that you should switch to 5.7 from 5.2 ?
