With so much consumer grade equipment operating in the 2.4Ghz band it would be nice to have the ability to use from 2.4Ghz to 2.4835Ghz.
From the 8.2 release notes - "20 MHz channels, centered on 24150 to 24575 MHz in 2.5 MHz increments (within the 2400-2483.5 MHz ISM band)"
Why not have 20 MHz channels, centered on 24150 to 24700 MHz in 2.5 MHz increments (within the 2400-2483.5 MHz ISM band).
This would give a little flexibility to stay away from known interference. Now the most you can move any one center channel is 2.5Mhz.
There MUST be a reason???
