is there any way to reset or retrive the username and password on my modem without resetiing it & if i do reset it do i have to contact my internet provider to set up my modem again?

If your device is onboarded into cnMaestro (cambium cloud/on-premise) then the cnMaestro account holder (either you or your ISP) should be able to reset the credentials. Basically change the credentials and push configuration from cnMaestro.
