I have a quick question regarding the number of VLAN IDs a SM can pass thru.
We have a 2.4 AP that is connected to a Coverage Extender device. The 5.2 SM that backhauls the data is connected at 2X and provides enough throughput for the number of subscribers on the 2.4 AP.
We have a few VLAN customers connected to the same AP so that’s not really an issue. Two of the customers that connect to this 2.4AP want to extend their VLAN to sites served by different APs in our network.
Can the SM serving as a backhaul for the 2.4AP pass the VLAN trunk for these customers?
