anybody doing Vlan with prizm ?
I need to do simple vlan, i just want each client on SM to be on his own VLAN.
So that one client on AP cannot reach another on the same AP.
can anybody help on doing this !
I don’t have PRIZM yet, but I do this by packet filtering on the SM and selecting Network Neighborhood. This will keep users from browsing outside their SM. Hope this helps.
that i also have in place but i did not want traffic from one Sm to reach the other Sm, in case it has viruses.
By filtering SMB, bootp server, and IPv4 Multicast you will stop most broadcast storms.
Prism supports VLAN tagging per SM, however you need a VLAN aware switch or router in order to get that traffic off the network.
