New to Voip. I have a customer that uses it and i would like help setting the SM and AP to the right settings to help out the custmer with a better experiance. Thank you.
First question is what software your sm/ap are running. Some of earlier 13.x and 14.x were less smooth in their bit bucket allotment so required some odd combinations of max/sustained/burst for settings. Fixed in 15.1
Generally, enable high priority channel for the Sm, set the high priority uplink and downlink cir to ~ 100kbps per simultaneous call. Set priority presidencd to diffserv then 802.1Q. Make sure on AP side priority presidence is diffserv then 802.1Q. If the VoIP device is tagging dscp into 23 or 46 should go out high priority.
