Way to tell if a AP can be upgraded to an Advantage unit

Hello all is there a way to tell if a AP can be upgraded to an Advantage unit or is it a hit n miss kinda deal

I think it requires P9 hardware.


To check this, log into your AP using telnet…

As you can see, it is a Hardware Platform 9, which is P9 in Moto speak…


The password for your unit is the same as your full-access password that you specified in the units configuration page.
