Weatherproofing PTP820

I'm new to microwave backhaul setups so when I put together my first PTP820 I kept wondering if this thing was going to hold up in weather, particularly where the radio mounts to the anteann and spacer.  I have the o-rings correctly applied and they have  the grease on them but was wondering if I shouldn't do somthing to better weatherproof this thing more.  Anyone have suggestions?

Hi, Nathan,

Congratulations to your first PTP820 deployment.

Assumming the installation struction is followed, which i think you did, you shall be OK. The  radio enclousre is IP66 compliant, which means "Water projected in powerful jets (12.5 mm nozzle) against the enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effects.".

The radio is direct mount with Antenna, with O-ring and grease applied, you shall be worry free.

I don't see any extra steps or things you need add for the installation.

Regards

Allen
