Prizm newbie here…
I’m at the accepting network elements stage of defining a network and
when I select the elements in the Discovered Elements window and select
Accept and Manage Network Elements from the menu, I get the error
’Host requires defined Server Subnet :’ for every element and none get move d to the Network Elements tree leaf.
I’ve entered the prizm server ip(s) in the Authentication Server IPs fields on the AP…
All my Ap’s and sm’s are on private ip’s, the prizm server is on a public ip.
It sounds like you don’t have a default network configuration set up yet.
Under Network->Define Networks on the menu, you have to set up a default network before you can begin to use Prizm. See section 4.2.2 on page 70 in the user manual for more information…
Did you ever find the solution to allow the acceptance of the APs in Prizm without receiving that error?
I know it has been a while since this was posted but it happened to me today. Nothing had been changed with my configuration for 2+ years and then all of a sudden this happened. I called Motorola and they helped me get it going again. The fix in my case was simple. In the network subnet configuration I changed the Server Route IP Address to default. Problem went away.
