What does this mean, "Method not allowed"?

I’m just getting started and having a problem connecting, getting:

"The request failed with HTTP status 405: Method not allowed."

What are the initial steps to this? Is there an authentication or communication problem when this error appears?

Nevermind.

We figured out that we were not establishing the TLS connection correctly with C#.
