When is availability expected on 2.4GHz Force110 Kit? (and other questions)

1) When is availability expected on 2.4GHz Force110 Kit? (from subject)

2) Will there be 2.4 GHz Force PTP (or another way to get access to a more affordable GPS 2.4 connectorized "LITE" AP supporting 10 SMs)?

3) Will the Force 110 antennas be slant 45 polarization to match the Cambium sectors (unlike in intergrated units, although apparently that is a non-issue)

Thanks!

A Force product for 2.4 GHz is in development and test now and will be released in the coming months.  We have not officially announced availability yet.  The orientation of the polarizations will be V and H.  You are correct that this orientation does not matter.  The performance is the same regardless of whether the orientation of the polarizations on the each end of a link matches or doe s not.

We do not have firm plans to introduce a Force PTP that basically has a "Lite" version of the GPS Sync radio.  It is under evaluation,  but we do not have firm plans for introduction.

If you want any help with the testing and development our WISP is only an hour southwest of your rolling medows facility.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I would like to voice an opinion that a "Lite" 2.4 GHz connectorized radio or Force PTP would be quite useful for backhaul in some locations. I happen to have several NLOS locations that cannot be effectively served without 2.4 GHz backhaul. Situations where a 2.4 GHz backhaul makes sense tend to have very low densities, so a full-price GPS AP for each backhaul radio can be cost prohibitive.

Thank you, Chris
