So did cambium switch to AP based QOS just to screw some of us or what??
In our case, we use cambium radios with other brands of AP's in wifi mode. So now, we have no ability to set QOS at our CPE.
Thanks Jerks.

Switch to ? No. Qos definitions have always been defined in the AP in the cambium mac mode. The wifi mode was designed to migrate people from wifi to cambium. You loose many other features as well. Labelling a company “jerks” because they develeoped a migration path that doesnt require a hard cut over is a touch much dont you think ? I mean, they simple could have not spent the time to make standard wifi mode and made people hard cut networks rather than at thier own pace. Cambiums mac blows the wifi mac out if the water, id suggest finish using the tool as it was intended and enjoy the performance gains your expecting.
No QOS was defined in the cpe for ever.
Now, it's only available in the AP.
Yes, jerks.
Just because you use it differently doesn't mean it wasn't used previously. Now, there is nothing. Now, it's we have to pay more to use something we ALWAYS had before.
Jerks.
Hi,
What FW version do you have installed on AP and SMs?
Thank you.

Can you elaborate more on this? You mentioned QoS was defined in the cpe forever. Are you refering to ePMP SMs/CPE or a different brand. And are you referring to Standard WiFi mode or TDD? We have never supported QoS on the ePMP SM/CPE in Standard WiFi mode. So if you can provide us more information, we can try to help and hopefully be less of a jerk.

I must applogize then as I'm probably used to it being there on normal TDD mode.
I had a serious need for it today, and had no recourse without it other than to have the customer stop doing what he was doing. Luckily, he did.
